Job Overview

Responsible to be the key finance business partner to the Operations site leader and other members of the management staff to support plant performance analysis and manufacturing variances review and promote productivity improvements to achieve the financial results.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance business partner to Operations Management, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business objectives.
  • Prepare quarterly forecasts, annual operating budgets, and other financial planning deliverables.
  • Lead financial analyses related to plant performance and manufacturing variances.
  • Review and analyze month-end expense accounts, identifying and explaining significant variances.
  • Perform financial consolidation activities and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Support management decision-making through comprehensive financial modeling and analysis.
  • Coordinate product costing activities, including new product introductions and special costing requests.
  • Analyze inventory levels, reserves, and inventory-related financial impacts.
  • Monitor material nonconformance costs and support initiatives aimed at reducing scrap and improving operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance cost reporting, financial processes, and overall operational performance.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory counts and conduct periodic cycle count audits.
  • Support internal control compliance requirements and actively participate in internal and external audits.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate, validate, and track savings generated through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support annual costing activities and maintain accurate product cost structures.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

What your background should look like

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Cost Accounting and/or Accounting Supervision within a manufacturing environment or similar positions.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP/MRP and advanced Excel skills. 
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing variance analysis.
