Job Description: 

Job Overview

Conduct in-process QC-related management activities with the objective of meeting the requirements of the production process within TE corporate quality systems, policies, and procedures.

Job Requirements

Policies and Procedures

  1. Review and provide technical suggestions regarding the quality engineering operation (incl. quality-related documents, QIP, TE Quality standards deployment, and QC document updates) within the unit; and conduct quality engineering activities (incl. quality-related documents of assigned products, QIP, TE quality standard deployment, and QC document updates) to ensure the business procedures are in line with QC and global standards.

 

People Management

  1. Allocate and balance work across direct reports; review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports; mentor, develop and motivate them; and resolve people/functional issues in the team to achieve targeted section performance.

 

In-process Quality Control

  1. Monitor and provide technical suggestions to resolve quality-related issues from inspectors and customers.
  2. Review and monitor the daily operation of quality control activities; review and confirm the 8D process, QA Instruction, gauge (go/no-go), MSA, deviation request solution, and process capability analysis result; review and approve the corrective action requests; ensure the production process meets the company's and customers’ needs.

 

Outgoing Quality Control

  1. Monitor and provide technical suggestions to resolve the quality-related issues from inspectors and customers.
  2. Review and monitor the daily operation of quality control activities; review and confirm the 8D process, QA Instruction, gauge (go/no-go), MSA, deviation request solution, and process capability analysis result; review and approve the corrective action requests; to ensure the production process meets the company's and customers' needs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education, Technical Qualification & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree with a technical background
  • 5 years of quality-related working experience (including 1 year of management experience)
  • ISO System familiarity

enerally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level.
