Job Overview
The Director, Regional Supply Chain for the Americas Region will lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for a high-volume, low-mix manufacturing and distribution business specializing in energy connectors. This role is responsible for overseeing materials and production planning, with dotted-line oversight of logistics and distribution operations to ensure seamless delivery of complex, high-precision components across diverse markets.
This leader will partner closely with the Director of Global SIOP to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and long-term business strategy.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in manufacturing supply chains, strong leadership capability, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence, supply resilience, and strategic transformation in a fast-paced, distribution-intensive environment.
This role reports to the Head of Global Supply Chain (Energy).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a scalable, resilient regional supply chain strategy aligned with business growth, customer expectations, and long-term operational objectives.
- Own regional supply chain performance, including accountability for key KPIs such as inventory turns, working capital, freight cost, forecast accuracy, and service levels.
- Lead strategic planning cycles including budgeting, execution readiness, and performance governance, while establishing measurement frameworks to drive continuous improvement.
- Drive end-to-end supply chain transformation initiatives across a complex matrix organization, ensuring clear decision rights and effective collaboration across direct and dotted-line functions.
- Lead regional supply risk management and business continuity planning, addressing geopolitical, supplier, transportation, and raw material risks while strengthening resilience and contingency capabilities.
- Oversee production planning, materials coordination, and kitting alignment to ensure demand-capacity balance, optimized inventory, and just-in-time execution.
- Provide strategic leadership for regional logistics and distribution networks, including warehouses and 3PL partners, driving transportation optimization, automation, and network efficiency.
- Lead long-term (3–5 year) capacity planning and supply chain footprint strategy in partnership with SIOP and regional leadership.
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, including performance management, risk mitigation, and supplier strategies supporting new product development.
- Drive digital transformation and process excellence through advanced analytics, ERP systems, and data-driven decision frameworks.
- Manage regional supply chain financial performance and budget, partnering with Regional General Managers to drive cost efficiency within the P&L.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, including succession planning and capability building to support acquisitions, growth initiatives, and long-term organizational strength.
What your background should look like
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive supply chain experience in manufacturing and distribution environments, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record leading supply chain transformation, scaling operations, and driving operational excellence.
- Deep knowledge of production planning, logistics, inventory management, demand planning, and supply chain risk management.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management capabilities.
- Experience with ERP and data platforms (e.g., SAP BW/4HANA, SAP, Oracle).
- Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Ability to leverage advanced supply chain modeling, including inventory optimization, service level analysis, cost-to-serve modeling, SIOP scenario planning, and network design.
Preferred Certifications
- APICS CPIM or CSCP, Six Sigma/Lean, and/or PMP certification preferred.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $165,300–248,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
