Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify gaps and implement corrective actions to drive operational excellence.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels through a collaborative approach between the ICT EMEA DCs and the different stakeholders (Trade vendors/ TE manufacture plants, TE customers, GLOG team…).
• Lead the planning team to ensure the right amount of material is procured within the appropriate timing.
• Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
• Work with Procurement team to monitor outside vendor performance and address corrective actions where needed.
• Monitor the performance of our 3rd party LOG partners and drive actions aligned with ICT targets.
• Support critical customer escalations as the 1st escalation level and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfactions.
• Understand business and customer requirement and drive the correct supply signal to the manufacture plants by maintaining the adequate MRP strategy on a product level.
• Monitor MRP system setup, identify supply gaps and proactively work with the different stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Oversee the execution of shipments in different ways ( Sea, Air Freight & Couriers) from different origins in co-ordination with different freight forwarders.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, focusing on performance management, coaching and career development.
•Set performance goals for the team, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
•Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements in all supply chain activities.
• Recruit and onboard new hires.
•Regularly audit current practices against the SWI to challenge the teams, bring awareness and keep the team engaged toward the business Targets.

What your background should look like:

Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP, Six Sigma) are a plus.

•Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics operations.
•Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
•Proficiency in using SAP.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
•Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
