Job Overview

Evaluates suppliers' operations and products for compliance with company quality standards; influences supplier selection.

Your main tasks

-Plan, lead, and execute supplier quality projects, audits, development programs, and performance improvement initiatives.
-Conduct audits with existing and new suppliers to assess compliance, maturity, and readiness against TE and industry standards.
- Define, track, and close audit actions, improvement plans, and project deliverables in alignment with agreed timelines.
- Develop and deliver supplier training programs covering quality standards, LEAN and quality tools, TE requirements, best practices, and tier-2 supplier audit readiness.
-Manage supplier performance projects using KPIs, QBRs, audit outcomes, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement roadmaps.
-Coordinate and govern 8D activities with suppliers and customers as part of structured quality improvement projects, ensuring timely execution and verification.
- Partner with customers to manage quality-related workstreams and ensure alignment on expectations, deliverables, and timelines.
-Collaborate with suppliers to ensure:
•Compliance with applicable quality standards
•Accountability for TE requirements and KPI commitments
•Implementation and execution of strategic improvement plans
-Act as a key communication interface between suppliers and internal teams, adapting communication style to stakeholder level and project sensitivity.
-Plan, prepare, and manage PPAP submissions as formal project deliverables to ensure compliant, low-risk product release.

Your ideal Background

-Good English communication (written and oral)
-Minimum of 5 years of experience and knowledge in the Quality profession (with Engineering related background)
-Accredited to conduct supplier audits to ISO 9001; experience with VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949 is a plus
-8D (eight disciplines) problem solving for customers and suppliers required
-Automotive and electrical manufacturing industries experienced is a plus
-University degree in Engineering is required (Electrical / Mechanical engineering, Process engineering, Manufacturing engineering preferred)
-Demonstrated experience of conducting supplier audits.
-Be able to understand processes, supplier contractual agreements & competitors as needed.
-Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, Control Plans...
