Job Overview

Responsible for providing financial support and performance analysis to the global/regional operations and plant management teams. The role requires an exceptional business partner to drive organizational success through the development and execution of financial strategies. Key responsibilities include managing a team of operational financial analysts/plant controllers, consolidation and analysis of actual results/forecasts/budgets, conducting monthly plant reviews, product/conversion/material productivity analysis, driving freight/inventory reductions, and supporting capital investments. The position also requires coordination with the regional/global BU supply chain team.

Your main tasks

Drive improvement of financial and operational performance
Business Partner for Plant Manager and all other departments in Tangier Plant as well as regional/Global management
Direct and coordinate activities related to the following:
-Monthly financial closing, analysis, follow-up and reporting
-Provide variance development and projections on a monthly basis
-Provide financial analysis and drive plans to correct issues
-Annual Budget Preparation (material, Labor, overhead), inventory and Capex
-Preservation of Assets
-Product Cost Development and Maintenance
-Conversion productivity and savings
Provide service and support in terms of analysis and numbers of the plant and all reasonable needs, e.g. conversion costs, productivity, performance KPI’s, etc.
Manage tool and/or product transfers between different locations
Manage the link between product calculation and production departments

Your ideal background

University Degree or equivalent in Economic, Finance, or Accounting 
5+ years minimum in finance, cost accounting and plant controlling, Automotive industry is a plus
General Accounting knowledge Local  & USGAAB
Experience with SAP SAC , SAP BPC or similar.
Good English language skills
Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organisation
