Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

  • Capability to collaborate with Product Management to establish technical product performance
  • requirements.
  • Co-ordinate & prioritizes the product development team’s activities.
  • Strong leadership background
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience with project planning SW (MS Project a plus)
  • Track record of working in a collaborative cross functional environment including Antenna, Mech Eng, FW/SW developers
  • Experience interfacing with contract manufacturers / distributors / suppliers
  • Track record of bringing products to market



  • Define, plan and manage project milestone activities.
  • Manage and direct a product development design or project team consisting of multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Manage and coordinate activities between departments to meet product development or project requirements.
  • Assign and lead the project team in completing project phase milestones and tasks.
  • Be accountable to PAC (Project Approval Committee) for completion of but not limited to project timing, cost and quality requirements.
  • Drive prototype builds, providing lead times, projected costs and coordinating team activity in line with 
  • committed customer requests.
  • Simultaneously set priorities/direction for assigned projects or programs.
  • Plan for the spend requirements for tool approvals and safe launch in the project plan, including internal 
  • labor, external cost, and capital spend.
  • Generate/facilitate documentation per engineering procedures.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or technical field.
  • 8+ years (or advanced degree)






  • Previous managerial experience preferred.
  • Experience/knowledge in manufacturing processes preferred.  
  • PMI Certification a plus.
