PROJECT MANAGER III
Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Project Management Teams are responsible for managing the operational aspects of projects from inception through implementation. They coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project teams and line management. Our Teams review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. They assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. They also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Responsible for ensuring project management compliance to LeanSpeed processes and verifying process rigor for project governance, documentation, and project health.
• Reviewing, adapting and continuously improving overarching processes to ensure profitable growth by enabling accurate and effective project execution.
• Adjust and optimize processes related to Planisware introduction, ensuring seamless migration and integration of all required functionalities.
• Develop and prepare training materials for new and updated processes, specifically tailored for our internal stakeholders.
• Conduct internal training sessions on both overarching processes and LeanSpeed methodologies to enhance team capabilities.
• Provide ongoing support to internal stakeholders, including guidance on PAC reviews, Project Review Meetings and effective utilization of existing processes and templates.
• Support PAC Facilitation Team with Project Data collection.
• Feedback team members & PAC on potential problems and drive continuous improvements.
• Support managements with project dash boards (financials, milestones, resource).
What your background should look like:
• University Degree: Bachelor of engineering - Mech/Automobile/Industrial Engineering/Tool design.
• Demonstrated experience in Engineering assignments, eg. automotive components, mechatronics.
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in Project Management Office , Overall experience 5-7years.
• Strong and thorough knowledge of technical tools specific to Project Management (MS Project), as well as knowledge on general engineering tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Culturally sensitive.
• Strong ability to set goals and motivate team members.
• Ability to drive projects with external organizations and customers.
• Capable to run multiple projects at the same time.
• Ideal candidate is proactive, resilient, and self-confident.
