RF Antenna Engineer

Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

What your background should look like:



  • Define, plan and manage project objective goals and milestone activities.
  • Manage and direct a cross functional team consisting of multiple disciplines.
  • Manage and coordinate activities between departments to meet product development requirements.
  • Manage product design cost targets and long term strategy as set by Senior Management staff.
  • Simultaneously set priorities/direction for multiple programs in development.
  • Act as the interface to integration, SBU functions or site team management.
  • Generate/facilitate documentation per engineering procedures.
  • Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
  • Explores, analyzes, tests and assists in research for the development of products and processes.
  • Specialize in quality control or assurance, chemical manufacturing processes, metals, electrical connectors and components, process development, materials, instrumentation. 
  • Handle calibration, displays, network control, mold development, audiovisual work or environmental health and safety. 
  • Plans, prioritizes, and manages multiple engineering projects; prioritizes tasks and assigns team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met. 
  • Evaluates and authorizes changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project; may work directly with customers to understand needs, gather customer requirements, identify resources and assess project risks. 
  • Creates, develops, plans, writes and edits operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication, for nontechnical and technical users.





  • Excellent program time management skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Exhibit understanding of the cross-functional relationships between inter-company groups and the expertise required for project or program completion.
  • Experience in managing business process development, planning and negotiations.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.  Ability to motivate, facilitate cross functional team members in international, multi-cultural environment..
  • Attention to detail, drive for results
  • Demonstarted skill in Microsoft Excel and Project.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.  Functional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.  MBA degree a plus.
  • PMI Certification required.
  • 8+ years experience in a similar position
