Manager Quality (f/m/d)

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization's Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

What your background should look like:

• Ensure implementation, developing and administrate the local quality management system in compliance to external (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO9001 or customer audits) and internal quality standards 
• Assess and decide about launch of new products, new processes and equipment affecting quality
• Ensure definition of quality control as part of production control plans according to standards provided by (central) quality management to achieve repeatability and reproducibility results
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, assessments and preparation of management reviews
• Driving quality awareness and Yokoten activities, increased awareness of quality standards and costumer specific requirements in the plant organization, i.e. implementation and application of structured
   problem-solving and lessons learned approach, in close collaboration with CBS function
• Ensure management of customer complaints and collect and address customer satisfaction according to standards incl. escalation to next level 
• Ensure quality performance (KPI) monitoring and reporting (e.g. regarding scrap, waste, customer complaints, etc.) in cooperation with plant controlling and production
• Ensure of incoming inspection, in-process testing and final inspection of products of local plant acc. defined standards
• First escalation level for incoming inspection, in-process testing and final inspection of plant lab in cooperation with functional LAB responsible


• Bachelor´s degree in Engineering or Business
• Certification quality assurance manager with continuing requalifications
• Profound experience in quality departments
• Knowledge in MS-Office (esp. Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Fluent English and German in writing and speaking
• Leadership experience
• Self-employed and structured working
