Sets up and operates machines and tools to perform various manufacturing or molding operations and maintains them to adhere to quality standards.

Job Requirements

Monitoring the production machine equipment, setting up the machine, operating the machines as per the schedule, and writing/modifying the machine programs.
Diagnosing the molding problems, giving suggestions to rectify them, creating prototypes to check the effectiveness of the molds, and doing precision corrections as per the dimensions.
Facilitating the repair and preventive maintenance processes, monitoring the required paperwork, tracking the mechanical downtime, and escalating it to the supervisors.
Inserting, changing, and maintaining the mold tool when required, following safety guidelines, company and department guidelines, and regulatory policies and procedures.

What your background should look like

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related work experience. Completion of high school or equivalent is usually required.
