Job Overview

Diagnoses problems and performs maintenance of complex equipment; ensures specific manufacturing behaviors are in line with practice and operation standards.

Main Responsibilities

    • Ensure the industrialization of new tools and injected plastic parts.

    • Define, set, and manage injection process parameters for both new and existing molds.

    • Lead continuous improvement and upgrades of tooling and injection molding equipment.

    • Create, update, and maintain documentation and training modules related to the molding process.

    • Establish mold setup parameters and enter them into the injection molding machines.

    • Perform time studies (stopwatch), analyze operator movements, and improve workstation ergonomics.

    • Contribute to the design of workstation layouts and identification of sub-elements.

    • Assist and train operators and technicians during the startup of new molds and molding machines.

    • Propose optimized molding line setups and finishing processes based on flow analysis, promoting a piece-by-piece approach.

    • Support the launch of new projects, including capacity studies, equipment selection, and staff training.

    • Optimize and redesign existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.

    • Develop process documentation and work instructions in accordance with quality standards.

    • Implement engineering changes and support the introduction of new products.

    • Monitor TEOA-specific KPIs and reporting requirements.

    • Track and analyze OEE, scrap rate, and line efficiency, and lead action plans to improve these indicators.

    • Prepare technical drawings for specific orders using AutoCAD, ZWCAD, or CREO.

What your background should look like

Educational Background

  • High school diploma required

  • Minimum two-year technical degree in plastics or mechanical engineering preferred

Professional Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in plastics processing (injection molding), ideally in the automotive industry

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in 3D CAD software: CATIA, SolidWorks

  • Knowledge of tooling design

  • Good command of Microsoft Office and Outlook

  • Familiarity with injection molding machines: Engel, Arburg, Billion

  • Injection machine setup and adjustment

  • Technical drawing reading

  • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and automation systems
