Manufactures and assembles various products per established facility processes, troubleshoots problems and performs maintenance of complex equipment.
Job Requirements
Mechanical Assembly
Assemble mechanical modules and machines based on 2D drawings and 3D models. Install frames, actuators, transfer systems, and precision components. Perform alignment of guides, motors, and drive systems. Carry out drilling, tapping, and adjustments as needed while ensuring high-quality standards.
Pneumatic & Mechatronic Integration
Install and connect pneumatic circuits (cylinders, valves, fittings). Verify functionality, pressure settings, and leak-free operation. Support integration of sensors and actuators.
Debugging & Machine Start-Up
Assist in machine start-up and testing. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or pneumatic issues. Implement corrective actions to ensure stable operation.
Fine-Tuning & Optimization
Perform adjustments to meet performance targets (cycle time, accuracy). Optimize transfer systems and improve product quality.
Documentation & Improvement
Provide feedback for design improvements. Report issues and support updates to assembly instructions.
Installation & Commissioning
Support installation and commissioning on-site. Perform final adjustments and troubleshooting.
Safety & Organization
Maintain a clean workspace (5S) and follow safety procedures during assembly and testing.
What your background should look like
- Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in assembly and debugging of automation or special-purpose machines.
- Strong ability to read mechanical drawings and pneumatic schematics.
- Solid understanding of mechanisms, alignment principles, and machine kinematics.
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills in mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work closely with automation and controls teams during startup.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel for installation and commissioning.
