Job Overview

Performs routine and preventive maintenance at facilities and on manufacturing machinery for assigned area(s) including physical building(s), process, and support equipment.

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities

  1. Perform corrective maintenance activities.

  2. Prepare and document corrective maintenance reports.

  3. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks.

  4. Prepare preventive maintenance reports in accordance with defined procedures.

  5. Participate in defining spare parts requirements and ensure proper declaration of their usage (active involvement in spare parts management).

  6. Provide technical support and training to the production team and other departments as required.

  7. Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  8. Participate in the improvement and updating of maintenance documentation, procedures, and preventive maintenance plans.

  9. Execute action plans aimed at improving equipment and tooling availability.

  10. Ensure compliance with 5S+1 standards within maintenance workshops and production areas, and ensure proper care of tools and equipment.

  11. Participate in and support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and processes.

  12. Ensure versatility by updating and adapting skills in the versatility matrix as required.

  13. Comply with and implement TE Connectivity standards and requirements, including:

    • Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and customer-specific requirements

    • Environmental Management System (DIN EN ISO 14001)

    • Occupational Health and Safety standards (OHSAS 18001)

  14. Carry out any special tasks assigned based on experience and level of expertise in a timely and effective manner.

  15. Ensure full compliance with legal requirements and internal company rules.

What your background should look like

Professional Experience
2 to 4 years of experience in an industrial environment within a maintenance function.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

Priority 1:

  • Electrical and electronic diagnostics

  • Diagnosis of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits

  • Use of electrical testing equipment

  • Automatic crimping

  • Manual crimping

  • Preventive maintenance

  • Corrective maintenance

  • Ultrasonic welding

  • Plastic injection

  • Flexibility and strong team spirit

Priority 2:

  • SAP knowledge

  • Spare parts management

Languages

  • French

  • English is preferred
