Job Overview

Purpose 
New and extension project management ,analyze and solve production engineering issues ,assembly tooling design with the objective of ensuring releasing new product and process into mass production on time, the production in order and improving the efficiency within the supervision of Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manufacturing Process Development
(i) Define, review and confirm the entire manufacturing process from start to finish.
(ii) Coordinate Design for Manufacturing(DFM) review, and initiate Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis(PFMEA) with core team members.
(iii) Prepare documentations and process specifications for production.
(iv) Lead team in identification, tracking and resolution of engineering issues using the Failure Analysis and Corrective Action(FACA) form.

Assembly Tool, Fixture and Equipment Development
(i) Evaluate new tool, fixture and equipment demand/cost for new projects;
(ii) Design and review the tool, fixture and equipment with core team members meeting TE engineering and EHS requirement. 
(iv) Discuss and review details of tool/fixture/equipment with mechanical engineer and outside supplier.
(v) Follow up the purchasing process to fabricate new tool/fixture/equipment.

Qualification for Manufacturing process, Tool, Fixture, and Equipment
(i) Condition all tool, fixture and equipment, lead the tool/fixture/equipment qualification by running samples or LVM, 
(ii) Follow up the documentations for qualification, using TE standard format and follow up the approval.
(iii) Coordinate pilot run for new products and solve engineering issues, make sure the manufacturing process capability meet engineering, quality and customer requirement.

Production Process Improvement
(i) Find the improvement points, initiate improvement plan and execute continuous improvement cross-functionally;
(ii) Communicate with product engineer for design/process improvement

Technician Guidance
Coach, train and develop operator and technician in order to ensure their technique could be succeeded and get continuously upgraded. 

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree and mechanical related background
6 years or more working experiences in related field
Good English writing and speaking 
Communication skills
Execution ability
Team work
