Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

Job Description

1.EHS Standards
Identify and assess the suitable EHS laws and regulations, renew the site  procedures or WI if needed, and share new requirements to all relevant dept. to make sure all requirements implemented.

2.EHS KPIs
a.Tracking all site-specific EHS targets & goals status, and provide support to each department.
b.Incident analysis, report, investigate and implement of corrective actions.

3.EHS Management System
a.Implement the TE EHS management System include ENV. tools and SAFE, focus on the key control point of MG, LOTO, BBS, ERGO, JSA, MOC, permit to work, and the supervise of solid waste management, wastewater, and waste gas treatment processes.
b.Overall occupational health management of site, include detections, occupational health check and KAIZEN etc.
c.Other TE EHS requirement implementations, like B2B, PPE wearing (especially of safety gloves wearing).

4.EHS Inspection & Audit
a.Identify potential hazards, risks or near hits through GEMBA Walk or internal audit and follow up the improvement programs.
b.Support the EHS Manager on the external EHS audit and develop corrective action plans and track completion to achieve continual improvement.
c.Coordinate governmental inspections and audits, effectual communication with governmental agency.

5.EHS Training
Establish and maintain the site-specific EHS training metrics or plan, provide appropriate training course to different positions, include the EHS training of site level to new staffs.

6.Other EHS issue:
a. Conduct quarterly EHS activities to establish good EHS culture.
b. Organize or assist relevant dept. implement emergency drills refer to the emergency drill plan.
 

What your background should look like:


1.Bachelor's degree in Environment, Safety engineering or related field.
2.At least 3 years MNC experience as EHS role, especially on safety.
3.Certified Safety Engineer is preferred.
4.Fluent English skill reading and writing.
5.Ethics, integrity and team player.
6.Good interpersonal skills and communication with relevant authorities and 3rd party.
7.Advanced knowledge of legal requirements and best practices regarding safety, health and environment.
