Job Overview
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Supporting injection moulding processes at our manufacturing site.
- Supporting with implementation of new manufacturing processes, new equipment, procedures, and systems.
- Assisting with manufacturing production area set up, during new product introductions.
- Gather and analyse data to determine root cause of the process failure and system requirements.
- Attend process stoppages, eliminating obstacles and reducing downtime enabling efficient production runs.
- Identifying opportunities to make processes more efficient to increase productivity and enable savings
What your background should look like:
- Recognized technical qualification in one of the following disciplines: injection moulding, mechanical, industrial or electrical engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of injection moulding methods
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of standard manufacturing techniques (LEAN Manufacturing principles would be advantage)
- Ability to use critical thinking skills to solve root cause of the production problem or engineering problem.
- Ability to read technical instructions, engineering manuals and other machine related documents
- The ability to work with diverse teams, building strong working relationships with different groups of stakeholders (Safety, production, quality, procurement, suppliers, product development teams etc.)
- Basic mechanical assembly, use of hand tools and hand measuring equipment beneficial
- Ensure processes and procedures follow company agreed rules and national regulations.
- Basic knowledge pf project management beneficial
