Job Overview

The TE Supply Chain Rotation Program is designed to provide participants with broad exposure to the elements of materials planning, logistics, and procurement.  The program consists of three eight-month rotations in multiple areas each accompanied by a robust technical and leadership curriculum.  The Supply Chain Program provides individuals with future leadership opportunities at TE in the supply chain.

Short Description

As a Supply Chain Rotation Associate, your responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following:

  • Understand the functional areas of procurement, materials planning, commodity management, operations and finance and how they support the global supply chain
  • Perform internal and external audits and analyses of processes to strengthen supply chain
  • Gather quotations, review and complete purchase orders, contact suppliers to place orders and expedite the delivery of purchased items to meet delivery schedules
  • Obtain quotes from suppliers and assist in negotiating most suitable prices, terms and delivery schedules.
  • Assist in the evaluation of suppliers and may participate in plant surveys to evaluate and recommend prospective suppliers
  • Apply lean principles as it relates to Supply Chain and Operations

What your background should look like:

  • Motivated individual with the ability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed work environment with minimal supervision
  • A clear communicator who is able to speak and present confidently to a diverse audience, including senior management
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment and with global team members
  • Fluent in English, reading, writing, and speaking English language
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or other related disciplines.
  • Proficient with MS-Office products, SAP background is a plus
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work without restriction

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $50,600 – $75,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
