Product Development Engineering Intern

Job Overview

As an ICT Product Development Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with our team to design and develop new products for the Industrial and Commercial Transportation market. Some of this team’s responsibilities include:

  • Understanding customer requirements and translating them into cost-effective designs
  • Collaborating across functions to ensure designs are manufacturable, within budget, on time and meet requirements
  • Mocking up concepts and prototypes of new parts and assemblies using SLA’s, 3D printed samples etc.
  • Preparing product test plans and specifications
  • Partnering with sales and marketing to prepare new product trainings

What your background should look like:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Program, preferred Major(s): Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools like Creo, Solid Works, etc. 
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Prior internship experience is desirable

This position will be located at our Winston-Salem, NC office.
