Operations Finance Manager (Plants)

Job Overview

This position is part of the Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) Finance organization supporting the ICT and Global Application Tooling Division (GATD) business units. The candidate will be the Global Operations Finance business partner with a team of Plant Controllers in each of the manufacturing sites. The candidate will work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and Procurement to drive operational productivity and accelerate business improvement opportunities across the business ~ short-term and long-term.  Other critical activities will include coordinating financial analysis, developing business decision support, financial/strategic modeling, forecasting and reporting.

  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting with 7+ years of experience as a Plant Controller or in a manufacturing environment in a publicly traded company.  MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both verbally and written, for a senior executive audience.  Able to tactfully highlight and defend positions with senior management.
  • Ability to develop talent, and effectively coach and motivate financial analysts and others
  • Advanced financial modeling skills ability to create pro forma or forecasted Income Statements.
  • Understanding of macroeconomics factors and they impact financial performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; Financial Consolidations / ERP system knowledge a plus.

SAP, Hyperion and BPC experience strongly preferred
