TE Connectivity in Winston-Salem, NC is looking for a Manager, Product Management Engineering to oversee the design, product lifecycle, development, production, testing, and delivery of manufacturing products and build alignment across multiple functions inside the organization. Ensure adherence to quality standards and other requirements while conducting quality assessments and finalizing product enhancements. Manage the cost estimation team and provide guidance and leadership for all activities pertaining to the team. Work cross functionally on various activities including financial analysis for new business opportunities, VAVE activities, localization, and internalization activities, and other ad-hoc analysis to support the Auto Americas BU. Work cross functionally to develop costing strategies to support the business. As key business partner to the leadership team, evaluate various scenarios to support BU objectives. Collaborate with other functions, attend meetings to review the data we have for new products, localizations, and changes to existing products. Represent the Finance and Cost Engineering department at different meetings for North America and globally. Responsible for software use (FACTON) with the data extracted from other functions and convert that to a standard cost. Complete financial reports including Profit and loss documents, cost breakdowns, and assist team members with questions from projects costing. Interact with different teams such as Engineering, Procurement, Product Management, Project Management. Train and support direct reports about process for the costs and train new hires and get them up to speed to build confidence so that they can work independently. Develop the product roadmap aligning with industry trends, and customer needs in alignment with the business goals to maximize the market potential. Set priorities and goals with cross-functional teams and manage the implementation by collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
Requirements: Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 3 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
