Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

What you'll be doing...

As a Logistics Analyst, you are responsible for;
•    Lead and coordinate daily premium freight request to drive mode selection and cost efficiencies 
•    Support Control Tower program and execute track and trace function for priority shipments and mitigate exceptions for high value moves
•    Cultivate and support logistics planning, forecasting, and performance management modeling to improve end-to-end supply chain performance
•    Coordinate and analyze supply chain logistics operational metrics and provide feedback and solutions on trends, risks and opportunities to leadership. Analyze delivery network to identify expense reduction opportunities.; Research on-time performance deficiencies. Work directly with Supply Chain Leadership in developing corrective plans of action
•    Support business case development, analysis and implementation tracking to ensure benefits are robust and mutually exclusive across business segments.
•    Provide detailed volume/spend analytics to support the team and recommend vendor selection/allocation.
•    Liaison with key logistics suppliers to maintain industry insights and trouble shoot logistics issues.
•    Perform freight conversion analysis to move vendors from Prepaid to Collect freight terms
•    Manage projects and develop supply chain capabilities with little direction
•    Build processes and tools (Power BI, Tableau, MS Office, Excel, PPT) to help the business scale with growth while maintaining cost & service metrics
•    Perform root cause analysis, develop and implement corrective action plans to improve supply chain network performance
•    Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies throughout the end-to-end supply chain network using a data driven approach

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Mgmt, Industrial engineering, or Logistics and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Equivalent work experience in supply chain logistics environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
•    Deep Knowledge of Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain processes
•    Strong understanding of SAP
•    Strong analytical skills 
•    Strong communication skills (Bilingual – English and Spanish)
•    Experience in the Automotive industry and managing FG components and raw material logistics from around the around the world 


Work Location

This position is located at our Middletown, PA site and can also be remote for the right candidate.
