Job Overview

TE Connectivity in Winston-Salem, NC is looking for a Human Resources, Business Partner (Manager) responsible for providing a focused set of HR activities in the areas of leadership, organization development, employee relations, employee engagement, talent management, change management, and communications. A key player of TE global organization and support the business leaders as a strategic partner. Support Human Capital Data analytics and cross-business HR project management. Responsible for delivering an HR strategy that supports innovation, capability development, and career pathing, as well as providing a focused set of HR activities in the areas of leadership, organization development, employee engagement, talent management, and change management. Collaborate with other pillars of the TE Connectivity HR Operating Model, including HR Innovation Centers (Centers of Excellence) and HR Solutions (HR Operations). Focus on TE business, functional and talent strategies, organization design, and partnering with business leaders to develop a high-performance organization. Part of TE HR Business Partner Teams responsible for innovating and implementing HR policy at the business unit level while partnering with management to drive company-wide programs and initiatives including succession, talent acquisition, total rewards, and change management. Provide HR support to Quality, Finance and ISC team for Americas, being a strategic partner, member of the line manager Staff for these areas, assisting senior management in the development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives and initiatives, besides assisting manager and employee to address root causes of human resource issues, attempting to resolve employee relation issues with a systematic approach. Partner with Auto Americas HR Team on workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, and measuring/communicating results. Develop metrics to build accountability, measure results, and optimize the impact of talent management and organization development initiatives. Support the data analytics by partnering with the Analytics team and provide consolidated human capital reviews for Auto America's HR leader. Act as an engaging and inclusive leader to coach and empower a diverse team. Champion voice of the employee and advocate for their needs in front of the leadership team.

What your background should look like:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related discipline, or foreign equivalent, and five years of experience in the position offered or in a closely related position.


Travel requirements: 15% International travel required (Mexico/South America).


Experience must include: 
1.    Coaching – Guide manager and employees toward improvements areas/processes. 5 years
2.    Influencing and facilitation – Drives results primarily through influencing and collaborating with colleagues and peers. 5 years
3.    Communication Skills – Interacts and/or negotiates effectively with internal/external customers at all levels. 5 years
4.    Analytics & Problem Solving – Adapts precedents and traditional approaches to develop solutions to complex problems requiring a high degree of ingenuity and innovation. 5 years
5.    Automotive business experience. 5 years
