LOGISTICS ANALYST II

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

Job Responsibilities
- Directs all warehouse activities, implement warehouse policies, including safety and security
- Keep stock control system up to date and ensure inventories are accurate
- Ensure material release to manufacturing JIT and support the production smooth running. 
- Ensure warehouse is maintained in an efficient, neat, and safe manner 
- Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solutions
- Full control of SAP Master Data of WM Module 
- Improve the logistics processes (receiving, put away, picking, preparations, kitting, packing, shipping)
- Lead Kaizen events within the Supply Chain team (Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse)
- Benchmark and stay up to date on warehousing technology and process updates.
- Special assignments as required by manager

Candidate Profile 
1. Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics Engineering, or related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in logistics management in a manufacturing plant, or Supply Chain operations with thorough knowledge of Supply Chain system and processes 
3. Knowledge in import/export regulations is a plus
4. CPIM Certifications a plus
5. Ability to make real time decisions with minimal guidance
6. Excellent communication skills and leadership ability
