Job Overview

 

TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing and Process Technician to join our team in the electrical/electronic manufacturing sector. In this hands-on role, you will operate precision equipment, perform fine assembly work, and ensure quality standards across our production processes. You'll work with fiber optics, opto-mechanical systems, and automated equipment to help us deliver innovative connectivity solutions. We're looking for someone who brings technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in manufacturing.

Job Requirements

  • Competent experience operating CNC and automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability in electro-optical testing, measurement collection, and inspection procedures
  • Proven skills in precision assembly and micro-assembly techniques, particularly with fiber optics, cable assemblies, or fine-feature components
  • 2–4+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or process technician roles
  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to perform detailed work under quality specifications
  • Comfortable following SOPs, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation
  • Experience with quality control processes and inspection protocols

What your background should look like

  • Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, optical engineering or technology or a combination of engineering degree work and 1+ year(s) of associated work experience
  • High school diploma required; AA degree or equivalent preferred

 

We value candidates with experience in fiber optic assembly, cable termination, fusion splicing, or opto-mechanical systems. Familiarity with electro-optical test equipment and semi-automated production environments will help you succeed in this role. COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $57,300-$86,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
