Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and service oriented Global Mobility Specialist with a passion for providing first class HR support to our talented and highly engaged employees. The successful candidate will bring expertise, a growth mindset and a consultative approach to support the day-to-day operation of the Mobility program, partnering with external and internal stakeholders to ensure process compliance and exceptional experience for TE Connectivity’s mobile population.

Responsibilities

  • Performs operational functions in support of Global Mobility and U.S. Immigration programs:
      • Coordinates the full lifecycle of U.S. employment-based immigration cases (H‑1B, L‑1, TN, E‑3, permanent residency, etc.) and related Public Access File documentation.  Counsel internal stakeholders and employees regarding U.S. immigration requirements, work authorization pathways, risks, and case strategy.
      • Provides oversight of global mobility processes for employees relocating domestically and internationally, as well as consultation with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across policy, immigration, tax, and relocation logistics.
      • Coordinates remote-working requests among internal / external stakeholders.

 

  • Partners closely with internal cross-functional teams in support of related deliverables.
  • Partners with relocation, tax and immigration service providers to ensure timely, compliant, high quality service delivery, cost effectiveness, and accurate invoice processing.
  • Drives consistent policy application through continuing stakeholder education and consultation.
  • Addresses stakeholder questions in a professional, timely manner and demonstrates ownership through resolution.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance operational compliance, and improve overall participant experience.
  • Assists in developing and managing vendor reporting for internal stakeholders.
  • Manages deliverables in a fast-paced environment and adapts as new priorities surface.
  • Undertakes additional duties and ad hoc projects assigned.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • GMS and/or CRP designation(s) preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of corporate immigration or global mobility experience managing U.S. employment‑based immigration matters and U.S. / cross border relocation.
  • In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, visa categories, work permits, and global mobility standard processes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with global and culturally diverse employee populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Experience overseeing vendor delivery and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with cross-cultural sensitivity.
  •  Ability to review, interpret, prepare and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strength in process improvement, critical thinking, regional awareness, and operational discipline.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $97,900.00-$122,300.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
