STAMPING OPERATOR

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Stamping Teams operate assigned automated stamping machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

What your background should look like:

- You have successfully completed a technical vocational training (apprenticeship, HTL, technical college).
- Relevant work experience is an advantage
- You have no problem working in shifts 
- You have a very good knowledge of German 

 

Job Description: 
- As part of a team, you will supervise punch presses and be responsible for the smooth running of the process
- You set up the punching tools and raw materials on the presses according to program specifications 
- You are responsible for maintenance and small repairs as well as for order and cleanliness of the stamping presses and the stamping shop environment
- You are responsible for the compliance with the process parameters
- You will contribute to the further development of our high work safety standard.
- You cooperate in improvement measures of the stamping processes.
- You are responsible for the product quality, which is secured by process quality control
