Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior CNC Programmer who is passionate about advanced manufacturing technologies and ready to take the next step in their career. This role is designed as a development path into a leadership position, offering the opportunity to combine technical excellence with future people management responsibilities.
During the first phase of the role, you will focus on CNC programming, process optimization, and supporting manufacturing operations as a senior technical expert. As you build knowledge of our products, processes, and organization, you will gradually take on leadership responsibilities. Following a successful onboarding and development period of approximately one year, you will transition into the leadership of a team of six CNC Programmers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled CNC professional who is eager to develop their leadership capabilities while continuing to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Job Requirements

Lead complex CNC programming activities and serve as a technical expert within the organization

Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs to support efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes

Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency

Support the introduction of new products, machining technologies, and manufacturing processes

Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Tool Design, Quality, and Maintenance teams
-
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior programmers
- Act as Team Leader Deputy
What your background should look like

Completed technical education (technical college, university of applied sciences, apprenticeship with advanced technical qualification, or university degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Technology, or a related field

Several years of professional experience in CNC programming within a manufacturing environment

Strong expertise in CNC machining processes, tooling, CAD/CAM systems, and process optimization

Demonstrated ability to lead projects, mentor colleagues, or coordinate technical activities
-
Interest in developing into a formal people leadership role
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
-
Very good German and English language skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment

Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally

Category B driver's license

Compensation
We are legally required to state the collective agreement minimum salary for this position. The minimum salary is €3.700 gross per month (paid 14 times per year). A higher salary is possible depending on qualifications and experience.
