We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations (m/f/d) to lead and continuously improve our operational landscape. This pivotal role oversees approximately 90 employees across production and supporting departments, ensuring scalable, efficient, and high-quality operations aligned with our strategic goals.

Your man tasks:

  • Leadership Across Core Functions: Oversee and develop high-performing teams in Process Engineering, Operational Excellence (TEOA), EHS & Facility Management, Tactical Procurement, Project Management, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Manufacturing & Assembly
  • Operational Excellence & Compliance: Foster a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Strategic Alignment & Collaboration: Align operational performance with company KPIs and strategic objectives; collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, and Quality to support business growth.Resource & Capacity Planning: Develop and execute mid- to long-term plans for resource allocation, workforce development, and capacity management
  • Ensure Plant Safety & Compliance oversight: Oversee TRIR, SIPF, and SAFE metrics to maintain a safe working environment. Supervise facility operations, maintenance, safety systems, audits, and ensure compliance with EHS and regulatory standards
  • Optimize Operational Workflows: Design and implement efficient production processes; monitor and improve manufacturing performance, throughput, and productivity
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and other initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and standardize procedures and documentation
  • Drive Plant Transformation: Lead the journey toward best-in-class performance by collaborating with regional functional leads and cross-business units within Germany-based entities
  • Strategic Planning & Decision Support: Analyze operational data, generate reports, and support strategic decisions including make-or-buy and capacity planning
  • Procurement & Supply Chain Management: Oversee procurement planning, supplier management, and risk mitigation across the supply chain
  • Project & Resource Coordination: Manage cross-departmental project timelines, resource allocation, and ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Drive KPI Performance: Lead site execution in alignment with the TE balanced scorecard to meet key performance indicators
  • Talent & Capability Development: Champion workforce development, training programs, and succession planning to build a resilient operations team. 

Your ideal background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive operational leadership experience, ideally in manufacturing, high-tech, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven expertise in process optimization, production planning, and cross-functional leadership, ideally including experience in electronics and PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of EHS, facility management, and strategic sourcing
  • Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Fluent in German and English.
