TE Connectivity’s Product Management team drives product strategy and business performance across the full lifecycle—from innovation to market success.

As Global Product Manager – Software & System Solutions, you will own the digital (software) component of our monitoring and automation system solutions. You will define software product strategy, drive monetization and growth, and ensure seamless integration with hardware offerings. Working cross-functionally and with external partners, you will shape an end-to-end hardware–software value proposition that delivers customer impact and profitable growth.

Long Description

  • Own the global software product strategy for monitoring and automation system solutions, including vision, roadmap, and multi‑year growth plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive monetization and business performance by defining pricing, packaging, and commercial models (e.g., licensing, subscriptions, services, and hardware bundles).
  • Translate market and customer needs into winning software products, acting as the voice of the customer and leveraging deep understanding of smart grid and automation markets.
  • Ensure seamless hardware–software integration by closely aligning go‑to‑market strategies, positioning, and value propositions with Hardware Product Managers.
  • Lead software product execution and lifecycle management, including release planning, success metrics (ARR/ACV, adoption, attach rate), and coordination with engineering and external partners.
  • Enable commercial success by supporting sales teams with clear positioning, training, and customer‑facing materials, and by engaging in key customer and strategic deals.
  • Manage and grow strategic software partnerships, including roadmap alignment and commercial frameworks, and support M&A or technology partnership initiatives where relevant.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or a commercial role with software-based solutions.
  • Experience in power networks, smart grids, or distribution automation.
  • Strong strategic mindset combined with entrepreneurial drive.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional, global teams.
  • Results-driven, solution-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German.
