Logistic / Transportation Analyst (m/f/d) - Automotive (AUT)

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Traffic Administration Teams are responsible for the coordination and consolidation of domestic and international systems to support shipments. They ensure lowest cost transportation is used by analyzing company and customer needs, researching transportation methods, and auditing carrier costs and performance. They also interpret laws, rules, and regulations regarding shipping and prepares applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.


As a Logistic / Transportation Analyst (m/f/d) - Automotive (AUT) you’ll be responsible for:


  • Drive cross-functional projects to increase the overall freight visibility for AUT EMEA. 
  • Lead the process to align freight accruals with actual freight bills in close communication with teams from AUT EMEA finance, AUT EMEA freight reporting as well as Global Logistics (GLOG) FAP 
  • Manage to bring the financial freight coding of standard freight vs premium freight in line with the operational processes
  • Follow up on market innovations and trends around freight reporting and freight payment handling to ensure TE’s competitive advantage
  • Dotted line to the AUT EMEA freight reporting and analytics team in India
  • Monthly freight budget review and annual freight budget planning in close cooperation with AUT EMEA finance
  • Close interaction with the GLOG FAP team, the AUT EMEA finance team and the various stakeholders of the Integrated Supply Chain Organization
  • Run regular calls with the local AUT EMEA & GLOG warehouse managers to review & align on freight numbers
  • Guide the local transportation teams to structurally reduce TMS backend failures
  • Support the AUT EMEA transportation team to install dashboards to help the local operations & project teams to work on optimizations and generate savings 
  • For premium freight, reconcile PF request cost with accruals as well as carrier invoices
  • Ability to organize premium freights via the preferred AUT EMEA spot tendering tool

What your background should look like:


  • Bachelor`s degree in supply chain management/logistics, business economics, industrial engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years of work experiences in logistics / transportations, preferably in the automotive industry 
  • Proven knowledge in freight controlling in the logistics/transportation industry
  • Exceptional analytical skills including financial analysis
  • Good, effective, and confident presentation skills
  • Strong teamwork and the ability to lead and manage projects and people
  • High loadable, resilient, pragmatic, confident, convincing, self-reliant, self-assertion team player
  • Systematic, well structured, goal-directed, autonomous working ethos
  • Good in writing reports, business correspondence and procedures  
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
