Die Designer & Simulation (m/f/d)

Job Overview


  • Development and construction of future tool concepts / punching systems for contact systems
  • Design of the construction using simulation tools (forming simulation, motion) to ensure 'first time right'
  • Further development of the simulations and their application in toolmaking
  • Assumption of technical and cost-conscious responsibility (design to cost)
  • Product coordination before and during construction
  • Accompanying the punching tools until they are ready for production in cooperation with our local toolmaking and punching department
  • Participation in process FMEA and feasibility studies

What your background should look like:


  • Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, possibly with a PhD
  • Several years of professional experience in the conception and construction of high-speed progressive tools for contact systems
  • In-depth simulation experience in toolmaking using appropriate software
  • Independent, goal-oriented work
  • Communication skills and assertiveness
  • Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • good written and spoken English knowledge
  • Ability to work in a team
