HR Manager (f/m/d)

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's HR Solutions Partners provide consultative geographically-based HR professional services, guidance and coaching to managers and employees, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives.  They coach managers or employees to ensure that recurring HR processes, such as talent/performance management or salary review processes, are completed appropriately and on time.  The HR Solutions Partner manages a variety of Human Resources activities including employment and employee relations, recruiting, termination and data analysis/metrics.  They conduct employee orientations and implement organizational development, workforce or succession planning, training, or performance management strategies as developed by the parent organization.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • You will act as a trusted advisor to plant management and BU management in all aspects of HR
  • You will lead the local HR team and you will manage the collaboration with third parties to deliver HR services 
  • You will work with functional leadership to analyze and prioritize critical business challenges facing the organization and implement appropriate HR interventions. 
  • You will support management and employees with your team on all strategic and operational HR issues, initiatives and projects.
  • You are the first point of contact for the works council, representatives of the severely disabled, as well as
  • the trainee and youth representatives on all HR-related issues, including negotiating, concluding and implementing company agreements in cooperation with the Labor Relations function.
  • You will develop the organizational and talent strategy, including talent pipeline, organizational capability, organizational effectiveness and culture (engagement, I&D) in collaboration with the BU and DACH HR organization. 
  • You will play a key role in implementing change management strategies to support key initiatives. You will ensure effective communication and you will provide leadership for the implementation of HR programs and processes to ensure that the HR function is viewed by its customers at all levels as competent, confident, strategic, effective and critical to the success of the organization. 
  • You will collaborate across the HR organization to drive innovative, effective and business relevant HR programs and practices. 
  • You will improve current processes and coordinate organizational operations for optimized efficiency and productivity according to TEOA. 
  • You will ensure data is compiled from various HR systems and tools and develop reports as needed to support. 

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; Business / HR related major preferred.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience working in global or international organizations. 
  • Skilled in collaborating across multiple functions and organizational levels. 
  • Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity within a large global matrix organization. 
  • Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitating, presenting, communicating, process development, analysis and problem solving. 
  • Experience in manufacturing environments a plus. 
  • Business Acumen - Business Acumen (understand how business works from customers and markets to operational and financial viewpoints) in creating value for TE. 
  • Functional HR expertise: talent management, HR operations, compensation & benefits, employee relations, labor relations (works councils, unions, employees in different countries). 
  • Experience with organizational design and talent and management development. 
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to present with confidence. 
  • Experience in project management and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
