We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented TEOA Coordinator to support our site’s operational excellence initiatives. This role is well-suited to an early-career professional, year-in-industry student, or internal candidate with a passion for process improvement, problem-solving, and lean manufacturing. You will gain hands-on experience in continuous improvement while supporting site administration activities, working closely with senior leaders to deliver efficiency gains, reduce waste, and build a culture of operational excellence.

Your new role

  • Support the delivery of the Annual Lean Plan and assist with key improvement projects across manufacturing and logistics.
  • Collect, analyse, and report data to identify opportunities for process optimisation and track progress.
  • Actively participate in Kaizen workshops, 5S activities, and value stream mapping sessions to improve workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and monitor results.
  • Maintain and update visual management systems to ensure accurate and transparent performance tracking.
  • Assist in developing training materials and deliver introductory sessions to build Lean capability across teams.
  • Document process changes, contributing to clear and up-to-date standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Carry out site administration tasks, including management of temporary badges and access control including booking of board room activities etc.
  • Promote and adhere to Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards, supporting a safe and compliant workplace.

Your ideal background

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  • Open to sandwich year students (year in industry), recent graduates, or internal applicants with relevant experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
  • Prior exposure to a manufacturing or operations environment is desirable but not required.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present insights clearly.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proactive, organised, and eager to learn from senior colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); exposure to data visualisation tools is an advantage
