Production Supervisor

They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established process-es and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeep-ing and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for production and related issues.
• Ensure that day to day EH&S standards are maintained across the site.
• Achieve continual improvement in productivity and planning the area to ensure maximum efficiency in the use of labour, material, and equipment.
• Ensure quality standards are adhered to across all processes.
• Ensure delivery performance objectives are achieved.
• Assist with investigating customer complaints.
• Motivating and leading a team (Employee Engagement).
• Working with the Manufacturing Engineering team on new projects.
• Deliver Team briefs.
• Manage and coach the team (Appraisals, absenteeism, skills Matrix’s, holiday ...)

Your ideal background:

• 3 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Management experience is required
• Good communication skills.
• Pro-active and responsive to customer requirements
• Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks
• Ability to work in a team environment and on own initiative.
