PRODUCTION OPERATOR II

Job Overview

This role is part of the cold applied area. The role will involve producing cold applied products for the Utilities business and is of a repetitive/physical nature.

Job Requirements

• Being aware of EH&S issues i.e. COSHH & Risk assessments.
• Working as part of a team with the Utilities Supervisor.
• Adhering to working practices & procedures.
• To monitor & control quality.
• Keeping up to date with day-to-day operations/new/existing products & complete work on time in line with process times.
• Maintain cleanliness of the area and equipment while applying 5S +1.
• Ensure local area metrics are achieved.
• To carry out any other duties as requested by the Supervisor.                         

Qualifications & Training required:

• Prior experience working with machines preferred but not required.
• Requires an understanding of areas documentation (Training will be provided).

Personal Qualities:

• Flexibility to work overtime at short notice, in line with the business demands.
• Work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Reliable.

Additional Information:

Note: There could be a requirement when workload changes to move into the other production areas of the business.
