PRODUCTION OPERATOR II

Job Overview

This role is part of the kitting production area. The role will involve assembling and packing parts of low and medium voltage kits for the Utilities business and is of a repetitive nature. The Production Operator role is a 12-month fixed term position. Although the main position for this role is within the kitting production area there could be a requirment when workload changes to work in the other production areas of the business. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Be aware of EH&S issues i.e. COSHH & Risk Assessments 
• Adhere to working practices & procedures
• Monitor and Control Quality
• Keep up to date with day to day operations/new/exisiting products and complete work on time in line with process times
• Have an understanding of areas documentation
• Maintain cleanliness of the area and equipment while applying 5S 
• Ensure that all customer targets are achieved
• Carry out any other duties as requested by the Utilities Supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior kitting or Connectors experience not necessary but preferred, training will be provided.
