Job Overview
A Materials planning support role is responsible for supporting daily production and material planning activities. This role ensures accuracy in SAP transactions, supports inventory movements and upholds safety and quality standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining organised workflows, accurate system data, and timely execution of production plans.
Job Requirements

Safety & Quality: Adhere to all site safety objectives and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and compliance.

Production Control: Support daily/weekly schedules by managing shop floor documentation, printing labels, and ensuring production orders are supplied as complete kits.

Inventory & Systems Management: * Maintain accurate records and system logs using RF and CO11N.

Manage storage bins, block/unblock defective stock, and handle transfer orders (TOs) and requirements (TRs).

Execute Goods Issue (GI) for lineside materials, including Kanban and picked parts.

Data Integrity & Reporting:

Investigate and resolve COGI errors and 914 variance reports, identifying root causes for material discrepancies.

Utilize COOIS reports to analyze production data and generate daily labor/time tracking reports.

Resolve missed confirmations and perform order/material consolidation.

Planning & Logistics:

Coordinate with Planning and Logistics to prioritize workflow and monitor Kanban replenishment.

Order materials based on demand and perform weekly cycle counts to align physical stock with the system.

Continuous Improvement: Promote 5S+1 organizational practices and support root cause analysis for routing tasks and schedule adherence discrepancies.

Experience: 2–4 years of proven expertise in operations and logistics administration, with a strong command of departmental procedures and workflow optimization.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically leveraging Excel, Word, and Outlook to manage complex data and communications.

Operational Agility: Highly adaptable professional, comfortable working independently or collaboratively to meet fluctuating business demands and overtime requirements.
