Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. The Logistics/Distribution Support role in the Inbound area plays a crucial role in handling incoming goods, ensuring accurate inventory and smooth internal operations.
Job Requirements
- Checking received goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Processing deliveries in SAP system.
- Applying appropriate labels to incoming items.
- Keeping records of received goods.
- Dealing with issues associated with goods receipt (Identifying and reporting damaged, missing, or incorrect items).
- Banksman training.
- Communicating with planning.
- 5s+1 – understanding and involvement.
- Using the wave machine.
- Awareness of EH&S Policies, safety standards and COSHH/Risk Assessment.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
- Proficient Computer skills, with a good understanding of Excel and Word.
- SAP knowledge preferred.

- Ability to make decisions, solve problems and work efficiently in a time pressured environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player.
- Ability to Work on Own Initiative with minimal supervision.
