Job Overview
Your responsibilities:
• Lead the implementation of the TEOA (Tyco Electronics Operational Advantage) methodology.
• Coordinate with the site management the resources and priorities needed to support the deployment plan.
• Comply with the requirements associated with the application of TEOA tools.
• Lead and supervise the application of some TEOA Tools.
• Hold monthly reviews with the plant management and EMEA TEOA management to review the committed deliverables and adjust the TEOA deployment plan if needed.
• Carrying out and coordinating monthly factory metrics.
• Preparation and coordination of 6 Sigma and Lean projects.
• Support and advice for Lean Practitioner and Apprentices/Kaizen Facilitators (including talent management)
• Identify training needs for employees on problem-solving techniques and continuous improvement tools and organize training measures.
• Management of “cost saving” projects.
• Ensure Monthly TEOA Metrics report.
• Coordinate and participate in kaizen events.
• Collaborate on internal audits.
• Process Owner, ensure compliance with items included in the Process house as well as ensure proper maintenance and annual review.
What your background should look like:
• Minimum of 10 years in industrial context
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading continuous improvement activities on site level (Lean leader or similar function)
• Extensive hand-on and practical experience in using value stream mapping and implementing lean tools
• Experience on driving kaizen events with proven results in at least the following areas: EH&S, 5S & Visual Management, Standard Work, SMED and TPM.
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically (i.e. deliver results)
• Analytical minded and data driven.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills at all levels from shop floor to top management (strong leadership skills)
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher education preferred
