About the Role: Technician – Stamping Technologies

We’re looking for a hands-on Technician to support the development and launch of high-speed progressive dies. You’ll help build, condition, troubleshoot, and ramp up production, ensuring our dies and machines meet quality standards. You will also create work instructions, train production teams, and support tool design and maintenance. Occasional travel may be required.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assemble and condition new dies to meet product requirements and get them running at production speed.

  • Perform changeovers as needed.

  • Inspect products using blueprints and measuring tools to ensure quality.

  • Act as the technical lead for your team on routine questions.

  • Provide technical support and training when needed.

  • Sharpen, repair, and create precision tooling.

  • Set up and operate stamping press work centers as needed.

  • Work collaboratively across shifts.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.

About You:

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

What your background should look like:

•    HS diploma or GED required.
•    Associates Degree preferred.
•    Minimum of 7 years’ experience in high-speed progressive stamping.
•    Minimum of 7 years’ experience in tool making, die maintenance, and troubleshooting.
•    Completion of Accredited Apprenticeship program a Plus.
•    Profound understanding of progressive tool concepts, designs, and assembly.
•    Excellent math skills particularly in trigonometry.
•    Experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling preferred.
•    Must be proficient in the English language.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $69,800– $104,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
