Supply Chain Analyst II

Job Overview

The Supply Chain analyst is responsible to provide Key information regarding Safety Stock, forward looking Planning, component availability and consumption, as well as help coordinating along With Customer Service, Procurement, and Master data the pertinent SAP system changes to secure a good supply. Also keep close interaction with the Materials and Demand teams to secure supply.


Major projects will be related to Manufacturing location Changes from Europe and Asia Pacific to America (USA, MX and BR), to TE locations or Strategic suppliers, but also including any other projects needed for overall improvements on margin and efficiencies

 

Job Responsibilities

•    Participate as a strong, contributing member of a cross-functional team focused on Localization Projects.
•    Communicate ship schedules to Customer Service, & monitor customer shipments.
•    Coordinate Shipping point changes, and transition planning from Imports team to receiving team.
•    Support the Plants on Capacity Reviews for Value Streams and Work Centers
•    Oversee Forecast information, working in alignment with Demand and Product Management
•    Analyze and Plan for inventory levels (Safety Stock) of components, WIP and finish goods.
•    Assure BOM accuracy and Specifics for Production (rates and others)
•    MRP environment Maintenance in SAP along with Master Data
•    Lead and influence Core Teams to achieve defined objectives.
•    Conduct status meetings with internal Core Team and external customers and Report out on project status as needed.
•    Track project lessons learned and manage best practices.
•    Proactively identify & resolve risks & issues and establish escalation path on all projects.
•    Manage project communication and schedules.
•    Conduct project closeout meetings and post launch reviews.

What your background should look like:

Experience, Skills and abilities required

  • Bachelor’s degree on Supply Chain, Engineering or another related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience on Materials Planning, Demand Analytics, Customer Service
  • Independent Self-starter able to work effectively in a cross functional environment
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and meet scope, schedule, and follow up
  • Good understanding and experience working with MRP
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (oral and writing)
  • Ability to interact, influence, delegate and collaborate with multiple teams and individuals
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving to achieve targets
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience and use of SAP (needed), Excel, Microsoft Project (beneficial), and TEBIT

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
