The Senior Manager, FP&A will be responsible for leading a wide range of tasks related to the Automotive Americas Business Unit activities, focused on preparing analysis to facilitate decision making and improve financial performance. The Senior Manager, FP&A will interact directly with the Automotive Americas executive management team, regional finance leaders and with Global Automotive management. The position must be able to achieve results though influence and reports to the Finance Director for the Automotive Americas Business Unit. 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and 5-year strategic plan process for the business unit
  • Develop short-term and long-term financial models that identify risk; provide actionable business insights and recommendations
  • Provide analysis and explanations for Executive Management comparing actual and forecast results related to revenue, expense and cash flow 
  • Function as an effective finance business partner supporting all Engineering, Sales and Administrative functions
  • Continuous improvement of processes, systems and reports, including the automation of reporting and analysis processes
  • Drive organizational talent through development, diversity, retention and recruitment efforts
     

What your background should look like:

 

Qualifications and skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
  • 10+ years of experience financial management, ideally with planning and analysis background in a manufacturing company
  • Automotive experience preferred but not required
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • A high degree of initiative, hands on mentality and continuous improvement mindset
  • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with geographically dispersed team 
  • Team player, strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English (verbally and written)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Hyperion, SAP, BPC and data warehouse solutions

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $143,000 – 210,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
