What You’ll Do:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery, including EDM (Wire & Sinker), Profile Grinding, and more.
- Work from blueprints, process sheets, and sketches to manufacture precision components.
- Collaborate with engineers to understand part assembly requirements and optimize production.
- Ensure all parts meet strict quality standards using precision measurement tools.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies.
What your background should look like:
- Education & Experience: High School Diploma + 3 years of experience OR an A.A. degree in Machining Technology. A 4-year toolmaking apprenticeship is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Milling, Turning, Heat Treating of Tool Steels, and Surface Grinding.
- Advanced Machining Knowledge: Experience in setup and programming of Wire EDM, Profile Grinding, and Sinker EDM.
- Blueprint Mastery: Ability to read and interpret product blueprints, including geometric tolerance notations.
- Precision & Accuracy: Skilled in using micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments.
- Software Expertise: Developed knowledge of CAD/CAM software and metric system programming.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $54,900– $82,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
