Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Warehouse / Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

 

The Warehouse Manager oversees receiving, warehouse, packaging, material handling, logistics, distribution services and supervises staff.

 

Job Duties:

- Maintains receiving, warehousing, outbound shipments, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and controlled policies and standard work.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data ERP system.
- Experience in International shipments, FedEx, UPS, DHL, and other carriers.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by following TE Operational Advantage.
- Provide motivational leadership to department staff and develop the needed skills of department lead and production associates.
- Provide structure and cross-training to ensure leads and production associates can do a variety of shipping and receiving tasks needed per product flow requirements.
- Monitor and respond appropriately to department objectives to include on-time delivery, safety, quality and operating costs.
- Maintain effective communication with all other departments.
- Work with other department supervisors and leads to continuously improve product flow.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

What your background should look like:

Skills and Qualifications:

- 7+ years’ experience in a warehouse lead role managing hourly employees or warehouse experience.
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
- Ability to get certified driving PIT equipment.
- Ability to work with all levels of company staff.
- Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Provide excellent initiative, creativity, and focus towards the challenges and opportunities presented.
- HS/GED required; degree in supply chain or logistics preferred.
- Medical manufacturing environment preferred.
- ERP systems: Epicor, SAP required.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $94,880k - 142,320k annually (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
