Job Overview
Drives a culture of sustainable processes and takes charge of all process improvement change activities to achieve operational excellence.
Job Requirements
- Conducting surveys, personnel interviews, site visits, and business analysis to implement change and continuous improvement methods.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams for the adoption of standard operating procedures and leading workshops for the implementation of continuous improvement systems at multiple manufacturing locations.
- Developing improvement proposals based on the analysis of worker utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as process flowcharts and production schedules.
- Performing final inspection of the finished products and informing senior leadership on the type and status of identified improvement actions that can be used in future projects.

What your background should look like
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)
- 8 years of professional experience with focus on production, logistics or industrial engineering.
- Analytically, data-driven and problem-solving mindset.
- Previous experience leading and transforming operations at the site or value stream level.
- Strong background in lean practices, experience in using value stream mapping and implementing lean tools, such as: 5S+1, Visual Factory, Standard Work, Quick Changeover and TPM essential.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills at all levels from the shop floor to top management
- Strong team leader, ability to think strategically and execute tactically to deliver results.
- Ability to have a holistic overview of complex situations and flexibility to deal effectively with difficult issues when they arise.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as grinding, cabling, coiling, extrusion and manual assembly a plus.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $110,300 - $137,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
