Job Overview

The Medical Tubing team in Wilsonville OR is seeking an experienced Technician to join their team. You will be responsible for supporting the Medical Tubing team by managing all aspects of tooling.  This includes, inventory tracking, requisitions for new tooling, refurb, and coating.  Inspecting, and verify quality of tooling.

•    Inspect the quality of tooling: new, refurbished, and coated.
•    Continuous Improvement: Identify and work with key business stakeholders and operations teams to implement improvement opportunities.
•    Manage inventory control of tooling by tracking, updating, and maintaining a shared file.
•    Responsible to work with Operations and Engineering to identify tooling requirements.
•    Send tooling out for coating, and repair.
•    Clean tooling
•    Additional tooling tasks when requested.
•    Manage all aspects of tooling.
•    Enter purchased requisitions for new tooling.

What your background should look like:

•    Technician Tooling or equivalent qualification and experience.
•    Preferably with 3yrs+ experience in a similar role.
•    Working knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes would be an advantage.
•    Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
•    Motivated to work on own initiative.
•    Experience working in fast-paced Manufacturing Environment.
•    Knowledge of Medical Tubing, although not a requirement, may be an advantage. 
•    Demonstrated understanding of tooling processes would be an advantage.
•    Proven keen eye for detail and the ability to work in technical, challenging and changing environment.
•    Computer literate Excel, Word etc.
