Job Overview
Responsibilities:
- Identify/Update and document waste streams of all processes including plastics extrusion, machine shops, and other cable producing machinery.
- Develop a process for sampling of waste streams that includes preventive maintenance on collection/monitoring devices.
- Work with contracted environmental consultants to ensure criteria for Industrial Wastewater requirements are met.
- Ability to work well with others, to spread awareness of the importance of our wastewater permit with all processes.
- Ability to analyze data and create spreadsheets.
- Job requires full body mobility
- Frequent standing and walking are required in this job.
- Ability to walk long distances and carry up to 30 lbs.
- This role is part of facilities support team and may have other tasks assigned as needed
What your background should look like:
- AA in a science is a plus (not required if over 4 years exp.)
- 3 years experience working with local government and regulatory requirements for waste water
- OSHA 30 or OSHA 10, Hazwoper Certification, Hazardous Waste handling training certification preferable
- Be able to train others on wastewater requirements
- Microsoft office, experience with Excel spreadsheets

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $47,680-71,520 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
