Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Ownership of safety and machine guarding initiatives related to the production of heat shrink tubing.
- Perform root cause investigations and execute corrective actions for non-conforming products, processes and equipment using analytical tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and 8D.
- Write technical documentation, such as process instructions, process validation plans and reports, process development plans and reports, and non-conforming material reports.
- Lead cost reduction projects and continuous improvement initiatives in cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate effectively with others across the organization to collectively achieve business objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
- Communicate effectively through written, verbal, non-verbal, and visual methods.
- Adhere to quality and compliance standards to ensure safe and effective use of the products TE manufactures.
What your background should look like
- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting a manufacturing environment required. 3-5 years of experience recommended.
- Track record of project completions that deliver business results.
- Experience with designing machine guarding (general CAD proficiency), lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) procedures, and safety control systems (PLC programming, safety interlocks, light curtains etc.) recommended.
- Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $83,100 - $124,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
