Distribution Marketing Manager

Job Overview

The Distribution Market Manager is responsible for effectively growing TE sales and Market Share through the global Channel Partners branch offices and regional Channel Partners in the assigned market, by account management of the local distributors at the POP and POS level. Strong and positive communication with the distributors is paramount in order to successfully train and support them so they can effectively sell the TE product. The job is to effectively negotiate with the relevant BU reporting customer needs and requirements. Efficiently manage branch execution of the distributor's reginal plans, including managing all market business reviews, and driving engagement and regional accountability. Execute as a single point of contact in the assigned market for all TE POS using influence by knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills. Being the VOC for TE with reference to the local market specifics: pricing level, competition environment, business terms and conditions, local laws, language, and business habits.  


•    Identify critical goals and success factors in different business situations. 
•    Develop strategies to achieve and sustain competitive advantage. 
•    Translate broad strategies into clear objectives and practical action plans. 
•    Considers ways to connect with those around you easily. 
•    Because of the diplomatic character of the function and cultural differences in the territories, show cultural fitting behavior. 
•    Maintaining confidentiality, and be honest. 
•    Utilize influencing skills through relationship management, strong communication, and synthesize information in a coherent and impactful way.
•    Determine actions after reviewing dashboards and as appropriate may direct work to other functions.  Will communicate priorities to next level manager.
•    Prepare materials for customer visits including, create PPT, analyze data/research specific to customer, and review alternative solutions.
•    ECE through positive Customer communication and touchpoints with both internal and external customers.  May drive or sponsor ECE initiatives.
•    Understands market influencers and conditions.  
•    Drive/influence our current/future product positioning to gain or re-gain market share. 
•    Understands key components of a Competitive Landscape: customers’ needs and how you can address those needs; how you compare against your competitors in meeting those needs.  

 

What your background should look like:

•    3-5 years of experience in sales – direct or indirect 
•    Relevant product or industry experience desired

Preference for a candidate that lives in Denmark
